1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PDF to Excel Converter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PDF to Excel Converter is a free web-based service that converts PDF documents containing tables into Excel spreadsheet files. The Service is provided free of charge, with up to 10 conversions per day per tool available without an account. Advertisements are displayed to all users and help fund the service.

3. User Accounts

• You may use the Service anonymously or create an account through Replit authentication
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• You agree to provide accurate and current information

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content that you don't have rights to
• Abuse the Service through automated tools, bots, or excessive requests
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the daily conversion allowance
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to process sensitive personal data (health records, financial data, etc.) without proper authorization
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. File Upload and Processing

• You retain all rights to the files you upload
• You grant us a temporary license to process your files for conversion purposes only
• Files are processed in memory and immediately deleted after conversion
• We do not store, share, or use your files for any other purpose
• Maximum file size is 10MB and 50 pages per conversion
• Only digital PDFs with selectable text are supported (no scanned documents)

6. Payments and Refunds

The Service is currently provided free of charge. No payment is required to use the conversion features. The service is supported by advertising revenue through Google AdSense.

7. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Errors or inaccuracies in conversion results
• Loss of data or files
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Third-party actions or services (Replit, Google AdSense, etc.)

As the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service
• Conversion results belong to you and can be used freely

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

11. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms
• You may stop using the Service at any time

12. Advertisements

• All users will see advertisements provided by Google AdSense
• We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be announced on the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
